Call for Applications: KAIST Undergraduate Admission for International Students!

※ Eligibility

International candidates for EARLY track must meet all of the following requirements:1) Spring 2020 (EARLY only)>> Applicants who have graduated or will graduate from high school by February 28th, 2020.2) Fall 2020 (EARLY / REGULAR / LATE)>> Applicants who have graduated or will graduate from high school by August 31st, 2020.3) He or she is not a citizen of Korea.* Korean citizens who hold dual citizenship are not eligible to apply as foreign students.※ Note: International applicant whose parents were born in Korea MUST read the instructions below.

International applicants of Korean origin MUST additionally satisfy one of the following two requirements:

  1. Neither of the applicant’s parents is a Korean citizen or;
  2. The applicant must have received his/her entire elementary, junior high, and high school education outside of Korea at a comparable and equivalent level of those provided in Korea. But in this case, international schools located in Korea are not acknowledged as foreign schools.
    applicant of Korean origin who completed their entire education(elementary, junior high, and high school) outside of Korea should submit the Certificate of the Facts Concerning the Entry & Exit issued by the Korean Immigration Office.
    The certificate should have recently been issued.
※ International students of Korean origin who do not meet one of the eligibilities above CANNOT apply for International Admissions.

The timeline in this table is based on local time in the Republic of Korea(KST).※ Please note that the dates for Admission Announcement are subject to change. ※ Submit your completed application and documents by 5:00 p.m.(KST) on the application deadline.
※ Interview is NOT required for all applicants. Applicants will be contacted through individual email if an interview is necessary.
 
※ Once the application fee is paid, you are not allowed to change your application track (i.e: from Early to Regular or Late).

 Application Fee

The application fee is USD 80 or KRW 80,000. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer after writing application form online. Additional charges (i.e. bank charges) should be covered by the applicants. Please note that application fee is non-refundable and you cannot modify application form once you pay the application fee.
