Eligibility Criteria: Must have completed his/her first or second year as a student in a Bachelor’s program (ie entering second or third year of studies) – Must be English-speaking – Cannot be a participant of ISS 2010, ISS 2011 or ISS 2012.

The International Spark Program is a nonprofit corporation based in Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA). Most of the Executive Board members and Advisory Board members are or have been affiliated with Harvard University. Our mission is to build the next generation of post-Soviet leaders, ready to deal with a new world, and prepared to strive for social change. This also means stressing the importance of a functioning democracy, cooperation, and a powerful civil society. Three years in a row starting from 2010 we have been organizing International Summer Schools on Leadership, with support from the Free University of Tbilisi. The summer schools lasted for ten days, took place in Bazaleti, Georgia, and classes were taught by Harvard-affiliated instructors. The students were all first- and second-year university students from Georgia and abroad.
This year The International Spark Program has started The International Spark Full-Year Program 2012-2013. The aim of the program is to help its students hone their leadership and teamwork skills and discover what they are passionate about, while learning practical tools that will help them with their professional career.
Must have completed his/her first or second year as a student in a Bachelor’s program (ie entering second or third year of studies) – Must be English-speaking – Cannot be a participant of ISS 2010, ISS 2011 or ISS 2012. We are looking for candidates that are eager to learn, enthusiastic, creative, and passionate to make a difference in the world. If this describes you and you meet the stated criteria, we invite you to fill out the application before July 31st. However, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and we prefer earlier applications. Interviews will be scheduled as applications are received, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Interviews will begin to take place in July.
