Call for Applications, European Study Trip 2018

Description

The European Education Center (EEC) – is Georgian, non-political, non-profit association, which embraces over hundreds of Georgian students/volunteers, researchers and civic activists. The main aim of our organization is to study European Policy, share and promote European values. Meanwhile, European Education Center working on increasing civic activities, youth entrepreneurship and local engagement.

This year, European Education Center organize large conference named European Study Trip. It’s 5th edition of study visits organized of EEC since 2017. Upcoming convention takes place in Brussels, Belgium, & Hague, Netherlands, 15-19 October, 2018. It focusing on explore European Union, its institutions and EU Policies in the different fields. The program will consist of a variety of lectures, expert panels, and meetings with EU officials in the heart of Europe.

The main motivation of upcoming study visit is making a strong bridges between the Neighbourhood countries and EU, strengthening people to people connections and introduce European policies

Participants of the project will have a possibility to the EU institutions and International Law Courts:

  • European Parliament
  • European Commission
  • European External Action Service
  • European Economic and Social Committee
  • Committee of Regions
  • Council of the European Union
  • International Criminal Court

Project participants can introduce European Policies in the different fields, meet an EU officials and study EU structures, its working and decision making process.

Eligibility

The study trip is fully open to participate active young people from Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia, Turkey and Central Asia countries aged 18 and 30  years, connoisseurs of English and an interest in the European Union and its’ neighbourhood policy.

Costs

Participation fee is 120 EUR which cover organizing fees and travel costs from Brussels to Hague. Selected Participants must book flight tickets and accommodation in Brussels by themselves.
