Call for Applications, OSCE Central Asian Youth Network (CAYN) 2018 in Almaty, KazakhstanCamps 02.05.2018
The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe’s (OSCE) Programme Office in Astana, Kazakhstan is pleased to invite undergraduate students (must be 18+ on the date of travel) currently enrolled in universities in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, including students from Mongolia and Afghanistan to apply to become part of the OSCE Central Asian Youth Network. This year's seminar will be held from 26 to 28 June 2018 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The seminar will bring together promising students from OSCE participating States in Central Asia to enhance their critical thinking skills and share perspectives on addressing threats to security in the region. The seminar also aims to stimulate creativity and encourage a co-operative approach among students from countries in the region. Seminar participants will be selected based on the quality of their application (including an essay) and their community involvement.
CAYN's working languages are English and Russian; applicants must be proficient in both.
OSCE Central Asian Youth Network (CAYN) SEMINAR is open to undergraduate students (must be 18+ on the date of travel) currently enrolled in universities in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, including students from Mongolia and Afghanistan.
The organizers will cover all expenses of participants.
Successful candidates will be invited (all expenses paid) to attend the seminar in Almaty and participate in panel discussions, interactive exercises, with their fellow Central Asian students, CAYN alumni, and seminar facilitators. We look forward to welcoming you to Almaty!
