Venue: 26 April –  2 May 2019 Issyk Kul (‎Kyrgyzstan)

Want to make the world a better place? Want to change your country? Do you believe in human rights and absolute equality? We do too! We are organizing the Fight Like a Girl anti-discrimination camp specifically for the girls like you.

The camp will take place from April 26 to May 2 on the coast of Central Asia’s biggest lake - Issyk Kul, in Kyrgyzstan. At the Fight like a girl camp you will learn how to speak up and fight against human rights violations and discrimination in your community. You’ll learn better ways to fundraise, team management and how to create content for social media.

But, most importantly, you’ll find friends with the same values as you from different countries. And who knows - maybe you’ll have joint initiatives in the future.

So if you are:

  • female (we mean people who identify as female);
  • 18-26 years old;
  • from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan or Uzbekistan.
  • If you really want to engage in activism and make a real impact but do not know how to or want to deepen your experience and knowledge - this camp is for you.

We welcome applications from all girls, regardless of sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, the presence or absence of physical disabilities, etc.
The working language of the camp is Russian (with the possibility of translation for English speakers). If you understand Russian but speak it poorly and speak English – fill in the application anyway.

If you are selected, your flight, accommodation and food costs will be covered for the duration of the camp.

Deadline is 29 March 2019.
