Vacancy for Legal Intern in Brussels, Belgium


 

 

TIC Council is recruiting a Legal Intern to support with membership schemes, compliance monitoring and coordination of legal and administrative requirements of upcoming meetings. The successful applicant will work closely with the legal and compliance team. The internship position will run for six months and a monthly allowance will be provided. Starting date: April 2020

Responsibilities

  • Review membership applications
  • Handle the organisation of information sessions for members
  • Guide members with implementation of new Compliance Code
  • Support the operational team in handling technical questions and quality complaints
  • Supporting the implementation of procedures/guidance documents
  • Ensure administrative procedures are in line with legal requirements for upcoming meetings
  • Assist in capturing the minutes of the Annual General Assembly and the Board meeting
  • Assist in the preparation of Annual General Assembly and Board Meetings
  • Assist other members of staff with their work

Profile

  • Fluency required in English (oral and written) and one other European language
  • Masters degree - preferred fields of study: Law
  • Excellent writing, editing and oral communications skills
  • Quick learner who can easily adapt to the fast-paced workplace
  • Conscientious, responsible, ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, independent, flexible, energetic, motivated, team-player
  • Work experience/internship in a relevant field is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
