Vacancy for Events & Public Affairs Coordinator in Baku, Azerbaijan


Responsible for development and implementation of public relations, representation and public image of the University and widening outreach activities.


The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Create a connection between the University and the community
  • Assist in management of University’s communication via press, radio and television media
  • Enhance the image of the University through productive communications
  • Help in handling all aspects of publicity campaigns and PR activities
  • Assist in organization and implementation large-scaled educational events for high schools (TV programs, competitions, projects)
  • Contribute to events for students (forums, conferences, internships)
  • Support programs that target parents
  • Organize community events such as exhibits, master classes, art nights, meetings with renowned figures
  • Manage enquiries
  • Organize and attend promotional events


  • Minimum 2-year experience in journalism, public relations, business or communications.
  • Experience in the media or leadership positions
  • Creativity and awareness of different media agendas
  • Project management skills
  • Creativity and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent command of English and Azerbaijani
