Internal auditor

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics (Foreign Education is preferable);
  • 2+ years’ experience in internal auditing role, with a strong appreciation of the associated risks and controls;
  • Professional experience in Big Four is an advantage;
  • Ability to clearly and professionally build reports on audit findings;
  • Good understanding of banking legislation;
  • Knowledge of accounting;
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and reporting;
  • Critical thinking and professional skepticism;
  • Superior analytical skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills in Russian and Azeri, both verbal and written;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office;

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform loan portfolio audit;
  • Perform financial and accounting audit and audit engagements on operational processes;
  • Prepare and present reports to the management and audit committee;
  • Work closely with management team and in-house legal counsel to maintain operational and legal compliance;
  • Document findings and comments in audit work papers for continuous improvement;
  • Perform special engagements requested by the management.
