The Topchubashov Center, a non-profit think tank based in Baku, Azerbaijan, announces recruitment for experts and in politics and international relations. Currently, we are in the stage
of expansion and plan to gather a strong and dedicated team of analysts. We are interested in motivated people with a solid educational background and readiness to learn and work on different issues at the same time.
The selected candidates are expected to perform the following tasks:
●Follow the events and processes pertaining to a certain region and/or topic they will be assigned, on a daily basis;
●Write analytical pieces, reviews, and reports;
●Prepare comments upon requests from various media, organizations, think tanks and companies.
The candidates should have the following core competencies:
●A completed bachelor and/or master diploma in International Relations, Political Science, Security, Political Economy or contiguous fields;
●Evidence of experience in analytical writing
●Working knowledge of English language, preferably attested by the IELTS or Toefl scores;
●Depending on the scope of a particular job offer, reading command of other languages (Russian/French/German/Persian/Arabic etc.) may be required;
●Ability to work in a team, motivation for progress and development;
●Proficiency in Microsoft Word and online search instruments.
Jobs can be offered both on full-time and part-time basis. Salaries as well as exact working hours are to be agreed on with the employer in each particular case.
About us: The Topchubashov Center is a think tank, a center of research and discussion dedicated to the multifarious issues related to globalization, international and domestic politics,
public policies and economy. Our purpose is providing quality analysis while maintaining our own way of looking at the things, focusing on the most critical challenges that face Azerbaijan as well as the outside world. We put particular attention to regional issues - the unresolved post-Soviet conflicts, challenges of integration, energy security, economic development strategies etc.
