Vacancy for Programme Support Officer - Grants & Admin





Salary: £29,189 - 30,666

International Alert is looking for an exceptional candidate to join our Europe, Middle East and North Africa (EMENA) programme, supporting the grants and financial management for our projects in the Caucasus and Ukraine. You will lead on processing payments, budget monitoring, preparing spending plans and support the Senior Grants officer, as well as the Project manager with events logistics and admin, by procuring travel tickets and accommodation for the team and participants. You will also provide project implementation support, consortium co-ordination and fundraising support.

This role will enable you to gain valuable experience and skills across these areas within International Alert’s EMENA team - our ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with the ability to prioritise and an eye for detail. You will be at ease in working in different cultural contexts and have the versatility to work within a diverse team.

Essential qualifications include 1-2 years’ experience in grants management and/or supporting a programme, team or project cycle, organising events and workshops, and budget preparation and budget monitoring. Fluency in Russian, and holding a degree in finance or similar will be a big advantage for anyone applying.
