Public Policy and Good Governance (PPGG) (2014/2015)


 ProgramObjectives: 
 
This program is designed to further qualify future leaders in politics, law, economics and  administration according to the principles of Good Governance and to prepare them in a praxisoriented course for their professional life and later contribute to the establishment of 
democratically oriented economic and social systems aimed at overcoming social tensions.
 
ProgramDuration: 
 
The scholarships are for two-year Master courses (in some cases one-year courses) at a range of  carefully selected study programs at prestigious German institutions of Higher Education. 
The majority of these courses are taught in English.
 
ProgramTimeline: 
 
 Call for application: midof April 2013
 Deadline for application: 31st July 2013
 Possible Interviews: second/third week of September 2013
 Expected Results: starting December 2013 until January 2014
 Start of German Language Course: begin of April 2014
 Start of Academic Semester:October 2014
 
Stipend:
 
DAAD is offering a full scholarship that includes a monthly allowance of 750 Euros, health insurance, 350 Euros lump sum for travel costs, in addition to further expenses.

5. University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück: Master Management in Non-Profit

6. University of Osnabrück: Master Democratic Governance and Civil Society

Required Documents: 
1. DAAD application form (3 copies) 
2. Hand-signedCV (please use the europass specimen form at 
3. Hand-signed Motivation Letter containing a precise description of the applicant’s academic / 
professional and personal reasons for wishing to participate in the program.3
 
4. Two letters of recommendation by university professors and/or current or former employers;
the letter must have a signature and office stamp and must be of recent date. 
5. Proof of language abilities: 
a. English –academic IELTS or TOEFL (Note: Institutional TOEFL will not be accepted)
b. German – necessary for the courses taught in German
6. Certified copies of awarded academic degrees.
7. Certified copies of academic transcripts.
8. Certified copy of School Leaving Certificate.
 
KindlyNote: 
 3 sets of the above mentioned documents should be submitted to DAAD Cairo Office.
