EPF/CRRC Azerbaijan and ICMPD invite you to a 3-day workshop within the framework of the EU-funded MOBILAZE project.
Selected participants will have a chance to attend a workshop on Apr 10-12 in Baku. The participants will delve into qualitative research methods and will explore methods of communicating complex information with visually appealing charts and graphs. This workshop will be ideal for junior researchers, who would like to enhance their research skills.
Interested candidates are required to submit their online application form by Apr 3, 2019. The selected participants will have to attend the workshop sessions on Apr 10, 11 and 12 and bring their laptops to the sessions for the practical exercises. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Iman Rajabzadeh is a PhD fellow at United Nations University UNU-Merit. He holds an M.Sc. in Economic System Planning and Development from IUT University, Isfahan, Iran. His current PhD research is titled "Robust Growth in Resource Rich Countries". His research areas are development and robustness in development path with a special focus on Developing Resource Rich Countries. Beyond his PhD, he also teaches different subjects on mathematical economics, Input-Output studies, economic development, micro abs macro-economics, etc. He also engaged in various projects as a management consultant.
Dr. Ortrun Merkle is a post-doctoral researcher. She holds a Ph.D. from Maastricht University, and she concentrated on the relationship of gender and corruption, and gendered experiences of corruption of migrants in her thesis. Her research pays attention to gendered forms of corruption such as Sextortion. She has been a visiting researcher at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) and the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS) as well as UNU-Gest in Reykjavik during her PhD. She is also a certified intercultural trainer.
